Shamane Rivers graduated from Atlanta Tech with a Master’s Cosmetology Degree and Barbering for Cosmetology certification in 2005-2006 and trained and worked at Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Salon in 2005. In 2016, she decided to put here Master’s Cosmetology License to work and begin training to cultivate her skills in natural hair care and professional development. Shamane trained under Robbin Groover at Too Groovy Hair Salon, where she got back to the health of the skin, scalp, and hair, as well as product knowledge. Shamane participated in different projects and worked as an assistant stylist to develop her skills and build her portfolio in pursuit of a career working as a production hairstylist. In 2019, she got the opportunity to work as a part of the Demi Beauty style team behind the scenes. In 2022 and 2023, Shamane had the opportunity to work with a major production company and for the first time in he career, see her name in the movie credits.
